Color will vary from board to board and lot to lot due to natural characteristics of wood. It is recommended you purchase your entire job, plus a minimum of 10% overage to ensure most consistent color.

Available Profiles

Square edge (butt-joint) shiplap features identical rabbeted edges on each side of the board. The rabbeted edges allow the boards to overlap and butt up together with no gaps. It also allows for spacing between boards at various widths with less overlap.

Trim can be used to frame an accent wall or create additional projects that use a square board.

Rustic Shiplap and Trim Installation Instructions

Install shiplap siding horizontally or vertically. For horizontal applications, start with the bottom course and work up with overlap pointing downward. Do not nail through overlaps. Shiplap siding is tight-fitting, so butt the courses up close.

A Space To Grow Into

“We wanted to create a space for our son that he could grow into, that would be rugged and rustic and pass the ‘cool’ test for years to come. The UFP-Edge Rustic Charcoal shiplap exceeded our expectations and was the perfect accent for our son's nursery. I have a feeling this product will soon cover many walls in our home.
