Pro Column Structural Post

The UFP-Edge Pro Column is an engineered structural post made from finger joined SPF lumber. This structural support post can be used for a variety of interior and exterior applications in both new construction and repair/remodeling projects. It’s available in a variety of sizes in lengths up to 12 feet.

Where can I use the Pro Column?

Exterior porch posts, decorative posts, deck railing, gazebos and pergolas

Can Pro Column be used as a header or horizontal beam?

No, they are only rated for vertical post applications.

Can these structural posts make ground contact?

No, since they are not treated they are not intended for ground contact.

Are Pro Columns stain grade or paint grade primed?

Both. For columns that are primed white, solid body paint should be used. For columns that are primed brown, a semi-transparent paint or stain can be used for a cedar appearance.

Do primed Pro Columns need to be finished with a commercial topcoat?

Yes, an onsite topcoat must be applied upon installation for the manufactured warranty to remain intact.
